Compassionate Science

Compassionate Science to me, is defined as the characteristics it takes and the will to help an individual or individuals through the ways of technology or science in general. To me I think the benefits of the technological cycle can help the cycle of human life in many different regards. I would like to be a software engineer and study computer science when I further my studies into college. Through my studies I hope to be helpful to many different people in the world that need a hand or simply knowledge on the use of computers.  Not everyone in the world is grateful enough to have the technology we have in the United Sates, many different countries may not even have a basic definition of what technology is. When I become knowledgeable enough in the field of computers and software, I would like to use my studies to teach, young and perseverant individuals in third world countries who would like to know what technology is and how to use it. Many different kinds of software can be designed every single day, why can't I design a software in which teaches kids in the third world countries how to use, practice, and tackle technology at first hand. This is how I would like to benefit society through compassionate science.

The Future

In the future, people will begin to evolve into the more technological era. Robots will begin to do everyday jobs, and we will not have to do anything for ourselves any more. This will lead to many more people relying on robots rather than there own selves. Leading to maybe obesity of many and overweight individuals. Phones will be implanted into our heads and we will just have to think in order to call or simply use our phones in general. Money will no longer be of use, and we will have chips implanted inside of us, and as we scan ourselves at each retail store/or restaurant our currency will diminish and our banks will get the notifications of money being used. People will probably be turned into cyborgs , in which we will be half robot and have man, we will have the ability to do superhuman things such as, fly off our jet packs of feet, be able to smash through anything in our way, do every day things in lightning motion, and have the ability to learn anything with rapid speed. The world’s population will increase, the need for food and many other necessities will decrease leading to war, in many different regions of the world. Pollution will increase, if measures on the environment are not taken carefully. Even though, we will have these many advantages, the disadvantages of the future will lead to war, famine, and rebellion of individuals towards the government in one way or another.

One Time I Laughed Really, Really Hard

One time my friend Hussein and I were in Spanish class and we were both studying for a test that was coming up the same day, we were both studying in our books and my friend Hussein decides to take out a calculator. I had no idea what he was doing with a calculator in Spanish class, so I turned around and I decided to question it, he decided to carry on using his calculator, he then looked up at me and I asked him, “What are you doing with a calculator? This is Spanish class bro!” I started to laugh, and in that moment I decided to drink water, I was laughing so hard that I started to choke, and in that moment of near death I decided to laugh more, and I spat up all of the water into my Spanish book, and at that moment I decided to laugh more. My friend Hussein decided to laugh at me, rather than help me from choking, this had me laughing more and I was at a non-stop laugh attack. This was the time in which I experienced a near death experience as well as a laugh attack that was non-stop.

Movie Review of Modern Times

Modern Times in review was a sensational movie in its own part; Chaplin the director is able to take many twists and turns to get a broad perspective of the “Modern Times” and give it a light to the viewers who watch the movie. Chaplin is able to show how tough present times are one in the same with modern futuristic times. Chaplin is able to go in depth and give detail on how harsh the factory life, as well as every day life can be. The movie is able to capture and take its course to have an overview of how everyday life really is and does not sugarcoat one bit of it. The director is able to show how crazy a factory worker can get when working in the same factory for too long, and how tough real life can be when there is no work, and how one must survive out in the real world. Chaplin is able to mix comedy with realism and give the viewers a sense of humor, while also giving them a sense of the real world. The theme that I took from this such film was that no matter how hard one thinks life is, another hardship will take its place and make life even harder, but at the end of it all, one must keep on smiling and move one, in the end the light will come sooner rather than later.
